Who is this dog?? Declan is my sheltie.
How old is he? He was born Sept. 8, 1999
When did he move to Seattle? December, 1999- he was a Christmas present, and by far the best one I ever received.
When did he move to NJ? In May 2006, Declan moved back to the east coast to hang out with Kate, Ana and Thomas.
What's he like? He's an angel. Playing fetch and frisbee are two of his favorite things - he also loves to eat, but so do most dogs. He's very friendly with everyone who he meets, but he reserves his special flat ears-waggy tail-kisses greeting for special friends. By now he's largely outgrown his puppy hyperness, but it's still easy to incite him into a bouncing, barking tasmanian devil. He's a huge flirt, which is always a bit embarrassing for me, as I'm very shy. Declan also thinks that he's the king of the world- he has a very stubborn and very dominant personality, but not in an agressive way. He also makes the goofiest faces -for a dog, he's very expressive. He's not too clever, but he'll figure out anything if it involves food. He's good at figuring out words- he has a long list of things that he understands -not just fetch or sit, but silly things he's picked up, like "drink" or "office" from me chatting to him.
What's his favorite editor? Xemacs, like his mom
What's his favorite variable type? Stacks of milk bones.
What does he do all day? When he went to work, he slept under my desk, mostly. Sometimes he went to meetings or played basketball or frisbee. He also liked to fish yogurt cups out of the trashcan. These days, he likes to sleep a lot.
Does Declan use the internet? Declan has clicked his paw on the mouse to launch the World Famous Amazon Associates Ads Server and Correios- he was at the launch of the Amazon Kitchen store, but Rufus clicked the mouse for that one. Now Declan is retired, and spends his days helping bark at squirrels and steal peas on a farm in New Jersey while his mom is at work.
