about me

since this is my homepage, this is a little about who i am. i grew up in NJ, then went to Wellesley where i studied Media Arts and Sciences (read: studio art and computer science). I did a lot of my major at MIT, which is one of my favorite places in the world. After college i moved to Seattle. I have a sheltie, declan, and my best friend lives in Seattle with a sheltie of his own. I moved back to NJ in 2006, since my nieces were growing up way to fast inbetween my visits.

I love photography, and programming in perl and python, and baking really fancy cakes and tartes and anything sweet and french. I can read novels in french, but I can hardly understand it when spoken. My favorite colors are blue, yellow, and green. I also love gardening, sewing, and visiting NYC with kate.

i found a copy of my homepage, circa 1999 in archive.org, so this is 1999 me vs 2006 me. Finally updated to reflect eastward coastal movement!
