She though it was funny, and put it up on a webpage. That's what the text outside this box all is. Then it was archived by some bot... and I just found it again. |
This is a quote from a friend of mine after an excursion on the web:
imagine that you've just found a beautiful pair of boots in a magazine. you want to find out how much they cost & where they are sold. so you attempt to go to the company's webpage to look up this information. you end up wandering around endless pages of fall '96 boots, information on saving the world through volunteering, etc. fine, you say! i'll do a search for the name of the boot. but the search page is completely blank. i'll send them email suggesting that they fix up their graphic heavy webpage with some useful content, you decide. but the "contact us!" page is empty. then you notice a link. "look here for stores near you!" at last, you can at least get a phone number. but that page, too, is empty. ):
